PEER REVIEW POLICY (BLIND REVIEW)
The JAAF (Journal of Applied Accounting and Finance) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts are subject to a strict plagiarism screening process before being sent for peer review.
Similarity and AI Detection Policy:
Similarity Check: All manuscripts are screened using Turnitin to identify any potential plagiarism or excessive similarity with previously published works. A similarity index above the acceptable threshold (typically 10% to 20%) will result in the manuscript being returned to the authors for revision or rejection.
AI Detection: In accordance with the evolving standards of academic publishing and the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the journal also uses Turnitin's AI detection tool to assess the presence of AI-generated content. Manuscripts with a high percentage of AI-generated text may be rejected or returned for significant revision, as they do not meet the criteria for original authorship.
If the screening process reveals any form of plagiarism or unethical AI usage, the manuscript will be immediately rejected and the authors will be notified accordingly.
