Author Guidelines

1. The editor accepts writings / manuscripts (scientific works in the field of Mechanical and Mechatronics) from the general public. There is no "article submission charges" article submission fee

2. Manuscripts can be in the form of: research results, literature reviews, comments / criticisms about manuscripts that have been published in the Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics.

3. The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English. The manuscript contains a maximum of seven pages, typing one space with the letters Times New Roman 12. The script is typed in the word processor MS WORD. The manuscript is written in one column from the title to the end. Submitting soft copy.

4. Systematics of writing arranged as follows:

  • Initial section: title, author's name, author's agency name, E-mail address that can be contacted and abstract.
  • Main sections: introduction, materials and research methods, results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions.
  • End: thank you (if necessary) and references or references.

5. The title of the article must be specific and effective. Ideally, no more than 17 words that use Indonesian, 10 words that use English, so that once you read can be understood comprehensively.

6. The author's name is written:

  • Under the title without a title (academic or indicative of position and rank) begins with a capital letter, written symmetrically without asterisks, and does not begin with the word "by"
  • If the author is more than one person, the names of the authors are written on one line.
  • If the writers from various agencies, in front of each writer and institution are given a "number)" with superscript writing.
  • In writing the E-mail follows the identity number of the author with a "a" in front of the author's email address.

7.Abstract (written in Indonesian and English) contains the essence of the problem, state of the art, how to solve it and the results obtained, and contains no more than 500 words, typed one space with 12-point size letters (Times New Roman Italic) .
8. Writing Method:

  • Foreign words are written in italics.
  • Alenia just starts without changing the typing from the left edge. Between alenia does not need to be given additional space.
  • Beginning writing chapters and sub-chapters can be numbered or without numbers, writing chapters using capital letters.
  • All numbers are writtten with numbers except at the beginning of the sequence. Tables and figures must be clearly stated.
  • Writing the literature in the contents of the article using the squence number with the symbol "[library number]", then writing in the bibliography is sorted according to the sequence number

  • All sources and references used in the manuscript have been properly cited.
  • Any necessary permissions for copyrighted material have been obtained.
  • The authors have disclosed any potential conflicts of interest and have complied with applicable ethical standards.
