Author Guidelines
1. General Guidelines
The Journal of Actuarial, Finance and Risk Management (JAFRM) welcomes original research articles in the areas covered by the journal's focus and scope. Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English and must follow the JAFRM manuscript template. Authors are strongly encouraged to use the official template when preparing their manuscripts. Manuscripts should be between 6 and 15 pages, including references.
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should generally contain the following sections:
1.Introduction
2. Method
3. Results and Discussion
4. Conclusion
5. Acknowledgment (If Applicable)
6. References
3. Title and Author Information
The title should be concise, informative, and clearly reflect the content of the manuscript.
The manuscript should include:
- Full name of each author;
- Institutional affiliation;
- Country;
- Email address of the corresponding author.
Professional or academic titles should not be included in the author names. Authors should ensure that all author names, affiliations, and contact information are accurate before submission.
4. Double-Blind Review Preparation
To ensure a double-blind peer review process, the manuscript file submitted for review must not contain the authors' names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgments, or other information that may reveal the authors' identities. Author names, affiliations, and corresponding author information should be entered separately in the OJS submission metadata and should not appear in the manuscript file. Authors should also avoid self-identifying statements in the manuscript where possible.
5. Abstract
The abstract should not exceed 300 words. The abstract should briefly describe: research objectives, methodology, main results, conclusion, and implications or relevance of the findings. The abstract should be understandable without referring to the main text.
6. Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords that represent the main topics of the manuscript. Keywords should be separated by semicolons (;) and arranged alphabetically.
7. Manuscript Formatting
Authors must prepare manuscripts using the official JAFRM template. The manuscript should use A4 paper size, times New Roman font, the font sizes and heading styles specified in the JAFRM template, and consistent paragraph formatting, figures, tables, and equations. Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and referred to in the text.
8. Equations
Mathematical equations should be clearly presented and numbered consecutively when they are referred to in the manuscript. Authors should ensure that mathematical notation is consistent throughout the manuscript.
9. References and Citations
All citations in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the manuscript. References and citations must follow the IEEE reference style. Authors should use relevant and up-to-date scholarly references whenever appropriate. Authors are encouraged to use reference-management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to maintain consistency in citations and references. DOIs should be provided whenever available.
10. Originality and Plagiarism
Manuscripts submitted to JAFRM must be original and must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts do not contain plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, falsified results, or other forms of research misconduct. All sources used in the manuscript must be appropriately acknowledged and cited.
11. Authorship
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research and manuscript. All authors listed in the manuscript must have approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission to JAFRM. Any changes to the authorship after submission should be communicated to and approved by the journal.
12. Conflict of Interest
Authors should disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could potentially influence the research or its interpretation. If no conflict of interest exists, authors may state: The authors declare no conflict of interest.
12. Funding
Any financial support received for the research should be acknowledged in the manuscript.
If the research received no specific funding, authors may state: This research received no specific funding from any public, commercial, or non-profit organization.
