Author Guidelines

 

General Requirements

Paper requirements that are eligible to be submitted are as follows:

  1. The article needs to be relevant to Problematika Hukum
  2. Scripts on Management Journal should not have been published to any other mass media nor be sent to any other periodic media.
  3. Management Journal Writers are a part of the President University academic community and not a part of the President University academic community.
  4. Published articles are willing to be uploaded on the National Electronic Portal (such as the Garuda portal) or the President University Website

Article Material:

  1. The results from research, whether it is empirical or documentary research.
  2. Secondary data analysis.
  3. Book review.

Paper Format:

  1. The paper must be written in English / Bahasa Indonesia, heedful to the EYD (Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan).
  2. The paper must contain an abstract in Bahasa Indonesia and English, not exceed 250 words, and must include keywords.
  3. The total of the page must be between 20 - 30 pages (double space), font size is 12, and need to be written in Microsoft Word. 
  4. The article (as the result of research) contains the Title, Author’s Name, Abstract, Keywords, and Introduction (contains: Background some literature review, and problem/research purpose). Method, Result, Discussion, Conclusion and Suggestion, Reference (contain references in the brief description).
  5. The article (equal to the result of research) contains a Title, Author’s Name, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Subtitles (based on necessity) Closing (conclusion and suggestion) References (contain references in the brief description).
  6. References Writing Format.
    a.In the article only write the last name, and reference year (written in brackets) if there is more than one statement using the same reference, names and year must be written; at the end of the sentence. 
        a) For example: (A, 1977)
        b) (A, 1997a; B 1977)
        c) (A, 1997b; C, 1966)

    b. References must be written in alphabetical order.
    c. References detail format
    a).
    Book: 
    Author’s name (last name, initial) Year of publication (written in bracket), Book’s title, City: Publisher.
    b). For an article in a book with an editor.
    Author’s name (Last name, initial). Year of publication (written in bracket) The title of the article. Name (ed) the Book’s title (the total of the pages). (written in brackets) City: Publisher.
    c). Article in a magazine/ journal
    Author’s name (Last name, initial). Year of publication (written in bracket) The title of the magazine/ journal. Volume, number (written in brackets). Article page.
    d). If the author on the reference wrote two or more articles/ books in the same year, then it is needed to write a,b, etc.
    For example:

        A (1997a). Book’s Title, City: Publisher.

        A (1997b). Book’s Title, City: Publisher.

  7. The function of the footnote is to show the identity of the author  (on the first page) or an additional description if needed) that cannot be input in the references.

Manuscript Submission.

The manuscript must be submitted in a printout or CD (containing the manuscript) format to the Management Journal Editorial at the following address: Secretariat Management Journal President University, Jababeka Education Park, Jl. Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
