Author Guidelines

Submission Rules

  1. The manuscripts must be submitted online.
  2. The administrative files (Declaration of Originality and Agreement; Conflict of Interest Statement; Author and Co-Author(s) Information and About the Author(s)) submit via email: jaaf@president.ac.id, click here.
  3. All of the manuscripts must be original, unpublished and not under submission and/or being reviewed at another journal or another form of publication.
  4. The author’s name and affiliation are removed in order to ensure objectivity for the reviewer. The completion of the name(s) and affiliation(s) is after the approval of the publication of manuscript.
  5. If the manuscript has been received, the authors should include the names, affiliations and e-mail addresses for each authors and e-mail for corresponding author.
  6. The manuscripts must be submitted in word format, should be typed on A4 paper, single spacing, 12 font, 1 inch for top, bottom, left and right margins, times new roman, not exceed 7,000 words, not more than 60 pages including tables, figures and appendixes.
  7. Footnotes should exist at the bottom of the page on which they are referenced.
  8. The number of pages should be on the bottom with central position.
  9. Number and title of the tables or pictures are written above the tables, pictures, bold typed.
  10. Tables and figures are presented consistently in the center and the titles are above the tables or pictures.
  11. Do not do the outside border for the figures.
  12. The manuscript can be written in both English and Indonesian language (see our archives).

 

The Structure of Manuscript

1.Title

Title should be short, dense and clear.

 

2. Abstract

Abstract is not more than 100 words with 3-5 keywords that consists of purpose and scope of the research, method, findings and conclusion. This abstract contains only one (1) paragraph.

 

3. Introduction

Introduction contains the background, state of the art that contains brief literature review, research gap, result expectations and motivation of the research.

 

4. Literature Review

Literature review describes the full explanation of the theories and previous related studies. Hypothesis development and theoretical framework (if any) also included in this section.

 

5. Research Method

It comprises the procedures of the research. It consists of the research designs, data types, sampling methods, operational variable definition and how to test the hypothesis (if any).

 

6. Result and Discussion

The result section contains data that has been processed either by using tables or figures. After that, the findings has to be discussed clearly related to the underlying theories, hypothesis (if any), and supporting and/or non-supporting researches. Eventually, the implication of research findings has to be mentioned clearly both for academics and practitioners.

 

7. Conclusion

It reflects the logic and sincere findings of the research that answer the research problems (if any) or research purposes without any complete discussions anymore. Conclusion should be written in paragraph, not item list/numbering.

 

8. References

Primary sources are preferably high valued by using the last ten (10) years references. The reference format is by using APA (American Physchological Association) format.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
