Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted to another journal.
  • The paper is written in clear and simple English.
  • The topic is relevant to civil engineering and the built environment.
  • The manuscript follows the journal template and formatting guidelines.
  • The manuscript has been checked for grammar and spelling.
  • Any necessary permissions for copyrighted material have been obtained.
  • A plagiarism check has been conducted, and similarity is within acceptable limits (less than 20%).
  • Ethical standards and research integrity have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted must adhere to the provided manuscript template.
Manuscripts should be written in proper academic English, with a total length between 3,000 and 5,000 words.

The title of manuscript must be concise and informative, with a maximum of 15 words.

The authors' names should be written in full without academic titles.
Affiliations should be presented in the following format: Name of University, Province, Country.

The Abstract must provide a concise summary of the manuscript content, with a maximum length of 250 words. Authors should include three to five relevant keywords that reflect the core topics of the manuscript.

The Introduction should clearly state the scientific rationale behind the research activity. This section should be supported by relevant data that highlight the urgency and importance of the research. The specific objectives of the study must be clearly described at the end of this section. It is also recommended to include a brief statement on the significance of the study.

The Materials and Methods (or Research Methodology) section should describe the research design, including the materials, methods, tools, and equipment used. If applicable, this section may also state the timeframe and location of the research.

The Results and Discussion section should present the key findings of the research along with interpretations and in-depth discussion. Emphasis should be placed on results that are directly relevant to the research objectives or hypotheses.

The Conclusion should briefly restate the research objectives and summarize the main findings that address those objectives. Further elaboration or new discussions should not be included in this section. Authors are encouraged to provide scientific recommendations for future research or practical applications.

The References section must include only those sources that are cited within the manuscript. Uncited references should not be listed. All references must be formatted using the IEEE citation style and presented in normal (upright) font.
