PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF: PENINGKATAN MUTU PERGURUAN TINGGI MELALUI PEMBENTUKAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM PENJAMINAN MUTU INTERNAL

Abstract


Based on data from BAN-PT Indonesia, there are currently many Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) entitled with “C” accreditation. The factor behind the low accreditation status is the lack of understanding of the importance of the internal quality assurance system in the Institution. There are 5 (five) universities selected to be participants at Program Asuh, in which most of their study programs accredited “C”. One of them is from the 3T region in Indonesia. Through the SPMI document workshops participants were provided with knowledge about the role of the quality assurance unit, as well as how to establish and develop an Internal Quality Assurance System as a first step to improving quality. Workshop implementation method is using active learning methods. Participants have an active role to discuss, argue, and solve problems based on their University. The output of this workshop is each University has the quality assurance unit and the ability to implement PPEPP
