International Journal of Family Business Practices

The International Journal of Family Business Practices (IJFBP) is a biannual double blind peer reviewed journal. Traditionally, the family business research has focussed on teh commercial enterprise in which decision making is controlled by generation of families - members related with blood or marriage trying to explore the influence of family on the business and vice versa. The IJFBP widens the scope to look beyond this interrelationship by exploring creation of family business and its transgenerational sustainability. Therefore, the scope is from small owner managers, medium enterprises to large family conglomerates. The topic covered are family business practices in all aspects of a family enterprise covering strategy, survival, innovations, business plans, professionalism, succession planning, finance, accounting, operations, organization structure and development.
