INNOVATION CAPABILITY IN TALENT MANAGEMENT TOWARDS EMPLOYMENT CAPABILITY THROUGH LEADERSHIP

Mesya Natalia Manalu, Dedi Rianto Rahadi

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of Innovation Ability on Talent Management in shaping Work Ability through Leadership within organizational contexts. Employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through Smart PLS software, the study reveals noteworthy insights. The results indicate a highly significant correlation between Work Ability and Leadership, as well as between Talent Management and both Work Ability and Leadership. Surprisingly, the statistical significance of the relationship between Innovation Ability and Work Ability or Leadership is lacking. This suggests that, within the scope of this study, Talent Management significantly contributes to both Employability and Leadership, while the effectiveness of Innovation Capability may be contingent on additional influencing factors. The findings underscore the intricate dynamics among innovation, talent management, employability, and leadership, offering valuable insights into the pivotal factors influencing organizational performance within this framework. This research contributes to a nuanced understanding of the interplay between these elements, shedding light on the complexity of their relationships.
